Collaborates with Portfolio Management and Regional Delivery groups to evolve storage capabilities for all platforms to meet new business requirements and to continuously improve the cost and quality of currently deployed capacities. Proactively works with suppliers to influence their service and support of deployed technologies and to position EDS for adoption of the next model and/or version, as appropriate.

Basic operating model:

To be effective in improving the global storage capability, we must: 

• Operate as global, collaborative, cross-functional storage leaders

• Define improvement programs that move beyond hardware certification to address the total solution, business justification, and implementation support

• Use business cases to articulate and quantify the value of our programs

• Use project management to deliver on our commitments

• Ensure consistent alignment with available process models, architectures, and templates from Corporate, Line of Business and Delivery
